Historique :	On conserve le marché de ces stalles, daté du 19 août 1610, passé entre les chanoines de l'église de Saint-Martin de Léré et deux menuisiers de la ville de Cosne (sans doute Cosne-sur-Loire). La quittance définitive date du 28 novembre 1611. M. Crépin-Leblond précise que le caractère sobre de ces stalles relève d'un style apparaissant dès le milieu du 16e siècle.
